Star Wars: Filling in the Gaps
While I’ve been working on reading Hollywood and Israel in recent weeks, I’ve also been catching up on Star Wars comics. You have Obi-Wan Kenobi to thank for this.
(There are light spoilers for one of the comics in question).
At one point, I thought about covering them on my site. But instead, I’m mostly reading for leisure and my own knowledge of what’s happening in the Star Wars universe. I started out with the Charles Soule runs of comics that took place during the prequel era and just after the end of Revenge of the Sith. This past Shabbos, I was able to read the Princess Leia limited series that takes place immediately after the end of A New Hope before starting the ongoing Star Wars title that fill in the gaps between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.
Thankfully, the library has a lot of the trade collections. Unfortunately, they are missing some in their collection, including the final issues leading into TESB. Here’s to hoping they add it to their collection. Why have all but one title on the ongoing Star Wars run? But in any event, it’s been fun reading the adventures that took place off screen.
